Becoming a member

To be eligible to join the pensioners' club,  you must be a former Barclays employee in receipt of an immediate pension or ill-health pension.  If you took a deferred pension (i.e. you were not an active Barclays employee at your date of retirement) you must be aged 50 or over and have completed at least 15 years service.

If you worked for the Woolwich or opted to take Flexible Retirement you may join as you have taken an immediate pension.

Membership is also open to spouses and partners, once they are

widows and widowers and in receipt of their loved ones pension.
